Founded in 1847, American Medical Association (AMA) is a medical association of physicians and medical students in the USA. It is the largest association of its kind in the nation. The primary purpose of AMA is to bring together physicians and health communities so that they can jointly work towards improving population’s health. There are different physician specialty codes that AMA publishes identifying physicians and their practice specialty. All the members of this association collaborate to bring innovation in the healthcare space.
