A medical imaging technique in which MRI scanners make use of strong radio waves, magnetic fields, and electric field gradients to form images of the body organs is known as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This technique applies nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). MRI facilities are available in hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers for the medical examination of diseases. However, patients with medical implants or any non-removable metal inside their body cannot undergo MRI scanning for safety reasons. To get an MRI scan done, a patient needs to enter a narrow and confining tube.
