An acoustic medical device used by medical practitioners or physicians to listen to the internal sound of a human body or animal body is known as a stethoscope. The device comprises a resonator which is small in size and disc-shaped. This resonator is placed against the chest that transmits sound to the two tubes connected to it. Then putting these tubes into the ear, the doctor or the practitioner can listen to the transmitted audio. It is commonly used to listen to heart and lung sounds and also to hear the blood flow in veins and arteries.
